  UPS AMARILLO IS WORTHLESS I WAS HAPPY TO PAY DOUBLE PRICE AT FED EX. 34th and Bell street in AMarillo, TX Worthless service by Joseph the manager Long story but he is so lazy, waited a week to send the package they never got to it. Monday, October 1st, 2012, I called UPS on 34th and Bell Street here in Amarillo, TX in the afternoon to see if they would beable to ship a large package that weighed about 80lbs. I gave Joseph (the "manager") the measurements, and he said he would call me the next day. I called the next day in the evening and an employee named Steven picked up the phone and said he knew nothing about it and that Joseph was not in. Then THURSDAY not Tuesday when he said he would call me back, not even Wednesday, THURSDAY, Joseph calls me back to say sorry I didn't call you back we have been very busy. So I said OK, I will bring the scooter into you, but I need it sent out Friday. So I asked one of my employees if he could bring his van so we can put the scooter in the back and take it to UPS. So Friday morning I took it in and Joseph said he would gt it boxed up and would call me when he had finished so he could give me the price and we would get it sent out that day. The Ebay customer already frustrated because I could not get it sent out because this manager was playing games and being lazy. Of course the customer is always right and he did not believe me, so that is just way too much stress for me. I called later that day and Steven had told me that Joseph has gone home for the day and would be back to take care of it on Monday. MONDAY??? Another question is, WHY CAN'T THE EMPLOYEES TAKE CARE OF IT? WHAT ARE THEY THERE FOR??? So I was disgusted and called the corporate office in Atlanta. I told a lady what had happened and she will make a note on that UPS office for it and all she could tell me was, "Are you sure you want to do this, because if we do they might be angry at that UPS office and not do business with you." So what kind of help did I get, none at all. Ridiculous. So Satuday morning I went to pick up the scooter that was sitting in the same place where I had left it the day before and took it to FedEx, who happily took it, boxed it up for me and sent it out for $214.00 Which was way expensive and I was losing so much money but I needed the customer to be happy so I do not recieve any negative feedback on Ebay. I own a very successful restaurant here in Amarillo, and I would never treat my customers the way I have been treated. Any employee of mine that acts in this manner is fired on the spot, which I know you will not do because companies these days give their employees a thousand chances and keep losing customers.

  I have been using this location a few times a year for the last 3 years. Patrick has been awesome helping with all my shipping and printing needs, he is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I am satisfied. The printing prices cant be beat, especially for large jobs!
