  Website says "New Years Eve has special hours. 9:00-4:00". I'm here at 2:08 pm and it's closed with a sign in the window saying closed at 12:00. Hmmmm

  I came here because I have moved quite a bit in my life and thought that it might be worthwhile to have my accounts with a nationwide bank instead of a local one that I'd have to leave behind someday. Well, they didn't have free checking. They had "packages in which checking was free" (which sounded like they'd expect me to buy something, so it's not REALLY free). Unsurprising here; someone cut off their greedy ways, so they found a new way to be greedy. But there are banks that don't do that kind of nonsense, so that's a major minus for Wells Fargo. But these people also wouldn't give me a straight answer on anything. Me: "What's your overdraft fee?" Them: "Blah blah blah savings account, blah blah blah credit card..." What the heck? I asked a simple question, and if they can't give a simple answer, it means two things: One, their policies are ridiculously complex and involved and Two, they're going to scam me and suck money out of me any way they can. Finally (didn't take long), I said, "Okay, I'm not getting any straight answers here; I'm going to Amarillo National." With that, I walked out. Don't trust or do business with this banking company.

  I have banked here for a long time and am very happy with it. My only complaint was every time I walked in the door they tried to get me to add services such as auto bill pay to my account. It got very annoying.
